An international congress in Dynamical Systems will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, from August 13th to August 17th, 2012. It will be a satellite conference of the 4th Latin American Congress of Mathematicians that will take place in Córdoba, Argentina.

  • Topological dynamics, expansive dynamical systems

  • Lagrangian dynamics, n-body problem

  • Partially hyperbolic dynamics

  • Systems with singularities, billiards

  • Group actions, foliations

  • Dynamical systems in other sciences:  There will be a session dedicated to this topic which will include plenary talks as well as posters on non-linear phenomena in physics, astronomy, biology and engeneering.

*The "Universidad de la República" has decided to give Dr. Lewowicz the title of Doctor Honoris Causa.
